Debra has loved libraries since she was a child. A former library aide during her college years in a work-study job, Debra almost changed her major from English to library science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She loved writing so much that she continued with her English Lit degree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Debra is happy to support libraries and reading groups in any way she can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Debra lived in Bartlett, TN, just outside Memphis, for 23 years and has supported the Memphis and Bartlett libraries. Bookstock is a book signing and fundraising event to support the Memphis Library. In this 2017 photo, she is the fourth author from the right. She is holding a copy of Check Out, <\/em>which is set in Bartlett, TN, and features a Bartlett librarian heroine, a Marine Vet with PTSD, and a college-age sister who has a stalker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
